Lifekind Health
Restoring the Health of Humanity - One Need at a Time
Who We Are
The Lifekind Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to addressing social determinants of health through evidence-based, community-driven interventions. We serve vulnerable populations facing multiple, interconnected challenges: food insecurity, chronic illness, and barriers to healthcare access.

Our integrated approach tackles root causes of health disparities by providing wraparound services that support whole-person wellness and long-term community resilience.

Our Impact-Driven Initiatives
Food Security & Nutrition Access
Community food banks led by professional nutritionists who carefully select nutrient-dense foods and create customized recipes for the groceries provided. This approach ensures no-barrier access to fresh, nutritious groceries while preserving client dignity and choice, and empowering families with practical nutrition education.
Healthcare Navigation and Integration
Partnership with Lifekind Health to connect individuals to comprehensive medical, behavioral, and social care services through the proprietary Lifekind Restore Method (Unitized Transdisciplinary Care or UTC), reducing emergency department utilization and improving health outcomes. Special focus on culturally competent mental health services that address stigma and barriers that often prevent access to behavioral health care.
Education and Community Empowerment
Evidence-based workshops, peer support groups, and resource navigation services that build individual capacity and community resilience.

Our Team
From an early age, Dr. Tobias Moeller-Bertram was driven by a profound curiosity—not just about medicine, but about the deeper forces that shape human health, healing, and consciousness. As a triple-board-certified physician in Anesthesiology, Pain Management, and Addiction Medicine, his journey has taken him from academic research at the University of California, San Diego (UCSD) to private enterprises, government agencies, and groundbreaking collaborations. His work has consistently been guided by the belief that true healing exists in addressing the mental, physical, emotional, and spiritual aspects of his patients.

In addition to his research, Dr. Moeller-Bertram is a visionary entrepreneur who has co-founded multiple companies, including Lifekind, Savas Software, VitaMed Research, and Versea, offering his patients access to traditional medicine, research, and holistic therapies. His entrepreneurial approach is rooted in the belief that true innovation emerges from asking the right questions—ones that challenge conventional paradigms to open new frontiers of possibility.

At the heart of “Dr. Toby’s” work is a passion for addressing the root causes of human suffering. LifeKind represents the synthesis of his calling and life experiences—melding medicine, innovation, technology, and a deep understanding of health to reimagine healthcare and human well-being.
